This is the last piece of art I created in 2020, a favorite passage from Refuge by Terry Tempest Williams. If there is one thing that brings consistent joy and curiosity, it’s the avian community at my bird feeders.

Our humble city yard has become a welcome refuge.

  1. This is marvelous. I love the layered effect of William’s poem lettering on the book endpapers on/above the painting. Superlative. It’s that rich green that makes it work.
